11 million dollar profits "Bank of

Hashim Shawa said, Acting Director-General of the Bank of Palestine: that the bank had made net profits exceeded $ 11 million, during the first nine months of this year, an increase of 54% compared with the end of September 2006.
He said Shawa, in a press statement: that the financial statements of the bank for the third quarter of the year 2007 came as expectations, and showed the bank achieve satisfactory financial results, which showed increasing the size of deposits amounted to 27% of up to $ 612 million dollars, also showed an increase in assets, including more than 27% to exceed $ 760 million, compared with $ 602 million at the end of December 2006.
With regard to the Bank dealings with Israeli banks, Shawa confirmed that the transactions with Bank Hapoalim did not stop, and all banking transactions for the bank"s clients with ongoing Israeli banks, pointing to entering sufficient quantities at the end of last week to the bank"s branches in the Gaza Strip Consistent with the requirements of the clients.
