About 100 person participated in a conference in Prague, whereby, discussed the details of The Secretary of State John Kerry’s economic plan to revive the Palestinian Economy- The economic initiative that was designed to achieve drastic change and development in the Palestinian Economy and creates hundreds of thousands of new jobs. Tony Blair, the Quartet Representative said in the opening of the conference that the Palestinian economy has great potential for development, noting that the initiative covers all details of what is needed for the private sector, international financial institutions, and the Palestinian and Israeli Governments. He also added: ‘’ what we need now is procedures that don’t improve the economy with its essential types, but also the economy as a whole, in the sense, that the Palestinians may feel a real Palestinian State as they see a development in the Palestinian Territories that is consistent with its own entity’’.
On the other hand, The Palestinian Minister of National Economy; Dr. Jawad Naji called the investors and businessmen in the Arab countries to participate in developing the Palestinian economy and establishing investment projects especially that there are plenty of investment opportunities that is beneficial to the Palestinian economy and investors as well.
