Palestine Exchange participate in Merrill Lynch MENA Conference 2011

The CEO of Palestine stock exchange Mr. Ahmad Aweidah participated in the annual Conference of Merrill Lynch bank for the Middle East and North Africa" Merrill Lynch MENA Conference 2011", that was held recently in Dubai . From his side,Mr. Aweidah added that the PEX"s participation in this Conference came in the framework to place the PEX on the international investments map, and to attract more foreign investments through meeting with interested investment funds that are investing in emerging markets to offer investment advantages in the Palestinian stock market in general and listed companies in particular. He pointed out that the participation in the conference held an important opportunity to meet with several representatives & managers of financial institutions, funds & international investment banks in the Middle Eastern financial markets, he added: “We held meetings with investing funds in Palestine Stock Exchange (PEX), and other funds that pay attention investing in the PEX in the near future” It is good to mention , that Palestine Stock Exchange (PEX) held regional & international promotional road shows in order to  promote the investment in PEX listed companies’ shares, & attract more foreign investments since the promotional road shows focused more on interested investment funds that are investing in emerging markets, in addition to the Palestinians living outside of Palestine.
