National Insurance Company earns a pretax income of $0.894 million in the first quarter of 2010


National Insurance Company (NIC) disclosed its financial statements for the first quarter of 2010, and the company’s financial results as of 31/03/2010 indicated a pretax income of $ 894,607 comparing to $ 1,731,216 in the first quarter of 2009. The company’s assets reached $ 63,870,060 at the end 31/03/2010 after they reached $ 61,228,977 on 31/12/2009. Total liabilities reached $ 47,544,130 at the end of the first quarter of 2010 comparing to $ 43,969,098 as of 31/12/2009. Shareholders’ equity reached $ 16,325,930 (minority interests of $ 1,203,689) on 31/03/2010 after they reached $17,259,879 (minority interests of $ 1,196,681) at the end of 2009, noting that the paid up capital has rose from $8 million to $10 million as of 31/03/2010.
