30 companies out of 38 listed companies submitted their audited financials in a timely manner

Mr. Ahmed Aweida the CEO of Palestine Securities Exchange announced the end of the period of listed companies to disclose the annual audited financial statements through the preparation of the annual report by the end of business day of Wednesday 31/03/2010, under the applicable disclosure system, which gives each company a maximum period of three months from the date of the end of the fiscal year to submitt the company"s annual report. Mr. Aweida indicated that 30 companies out of 38 listed companies presented their data in a timely manner, 8 companies have failed to submit their completed annual reports within the specified period, including 4 banks due to lack of authentication of the Monetary Authority to the financial statements and two other traded companies two other companies, in addition to the two suspended companies.
