An agreement of NIS 34 million with Jerusalem real estate investments for rebuilding the broadcasting corporation headquarter

WAFA - Ramallah - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing and the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation and Jerusalem real estate investments company signed an agreement of NIS 34 million, for the re-building of the corporation building. The Minister of Public Works and Housing Dr. Mohammed Shtaieh said during the signing ceremony at the ministry in Ramallah “We are witnessing today, a leap towards improving the quality of production of the national media on Palestinian television and radio”. He praised the great development that has occurred on the performance of the corporation in recent period. He pointed out that the building in the area of Irsal Street, consisting of 13 floors, an area of more than 11 thousand meters square, and contains a variety of studios for radio and television, pointing out that the prescribed period for completing the work is 10 months. In his turn, the general coordinator of broadcasting corporation, Yasser Abed Rabbo said "This is a new beginning in the life of the institution, and will be remembered for that as a qualitative shift that befits the name of Palestine, and what do the Palestinian people deserve". He stressed that the corporation provides and dedicated services to enhancing traditions of transparency and pluralism within the Palestinian community.
