Nablus, Al-Ayyam: The PSE index fell yesterday during active transactions that exceeded five million dollars. Al-Quds index closed at 528.10 points; a decrease of 3.78 points or %0.71. The indices of sectors of industry, investment and services, increased by %0.78, %0.49 and %1.25 respectively, while the index of banking and insurance rose by %0.53 and %0.45 respectively.
Yesterday, 20 companies shares were traded, 10 declined and shares 6 rose and the remaining 4 companies settled with unchange.
AIB, AMB, PCB, GMC, JCC, JPH, PADICO, UCI, PALTEL and WASSEL fell, while ARE, PRICO, NIC, AZIZA, PIBC and BOP had ascended, where NCI, AIG, PIIC, and PEC had stabled. The PSE witnessed active transactions, where 1661775 shares were traded through 540 contracts that valued a total of $ 5211221.
The Bank of Palestine led the transactions which rose by %1.17 with transactions value of $ 3366865.
