Hassouneh: the completion PALTEL-ZAIN deal within days

Ramallah- AL-Ayyam: the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Kamal Hassouneh announced that ZAIN and PALTEL deal has been accomplished and will be completed within days.
Hassouneh pointed out during a conference on the development of the telecommunication sector and its impact on the Palestinian economy that was organized by the Palestinian Economists Association in its headquarters in Ramallah yesterday, and had been attended by the President Adviser for Communications and Information Technology Dr. Sabri Saidam and the President of the association . Mohammed Shtayeh, and the General Manager of JAWWAL Ammar Aker, in addition to the Executive Director of Wataniya Mobile Allen Richardson, to the achievement of the telecommunications sector, despite the Israeli occupation and disabilities, adding that the telecommunications sector has become a major lifeline.
In its turn, Saidam spoke about the importance of the ICT sector globally and locally, where the volume of total expenditure on this sector exceeded $ 175 million.
