Al-Quds Index increases amid a momentum in H1 2026 financial data disclosures

As mid-August approaches, the anticipation for the semi-annual financial data of 2026 continues to be the most dominating factor on Palestine Stock Exchange PEX. Where, the leading stocks witnessed significant increase in their prices than the previous week. While Al-Quds Index traded in a relatively wide range, closing at the level of 672.29 points; up by 2.57% than the previous week. On another hand, H1 2026 financial and operational data disclosures witnessed a momentum, to create a clearer vision of the return on investment for all traders’ categories.

Regarding the blue-chips financial and operational data disclosures for H1 2026, Palestine Development and Investment Company PADICO disclosed posting net income attributable to the shareholders of the parent company of $17.12 million in H1 2026, compared to $8.62 million in H1 2025. This mainly resulted from an increase in the company’s stake from associates’ profits and joint ventures, in addition to the decrease in the company’s other expenses and losses. Based on the disclosed figures, PADICO records book value BV of $2.05. Also, Palestine Telecommunications Company PALTEL disclosed posting net income attributable to the shareholders of the parent company of JD30.03 million in H1 2026, compared to JD21.48 million in H1 2025. This mainly resulted from an increase in the company’s revenues. Based on the disclosed figures, PALTEL posts BV of JD1.69.

On another hand, Arkaan Real Estate Company ARKAAN disclosed posting net income attributable to the shareholders of the parent company of $17.99 million in H1 2026, compared to $15.06 million in H1 2025. This mainly resulted from recording property profits in H1 2026, compared to property losses in the corresponding period a year earlier, in addition to recording an increase in the revenues from dividends distribution. Based on the disclosed figures, ARKAAN posts BV of $4.11. In addition, Birzeit Pharmaceuticals Company BPC disclosed posting net income attributable to the shareholders of the parent company of $6.63 million in H1 2026, compared to $7.85 million in H1 2025. This mainly resulted from a decline in the company’s sales and increase in its expenses. Based on the disclosed figures, BPC posts BV of $3.02.
