The representative of the international quartet committee for peace in Middle East Tony, Blair encouraged the investors to pump money in the Palestinian economy that offers opportunities despite the Israeli occupation and movements restrictions. The Palestinian government and the private sector will host a 3-days conference in Bethlehem in next May that offers $1.00 billion projects on foreign investors. This conference comes within the efforts of Palestinian economy reinforcement, where the Palestinians participate in the peace negotiations that is supported by the USA, and the conference comes after the donors conference that had been held in Paris in January that pledged $7.7 billion to support the three- years development and reformation plan. The former British Prime Minister who had participated in a meeting to support Palestine conference for investment in Abu Dhabi, the Minister said that he works to lift the restrictions on movement that have been inflicted upon the Palestinian economy, and added "the conference title is … you can do business in Palestine… it is correct that occupation is very heavy, but it is also correct that we hope to lift theses restrictions in the coming months". Blair also said " it is correct that these political challenges affect Palestinian economy , therefore if these challenges had been faced then the opportunities will be great… today in Palestine there are real business opportunities"
