The end of the legal granted period to disclose the prelimanry financial data for 2020

Palestine Stock Exchange PEX announced, after the end of the legal period granted to the listed companies to disclose their 2020 financial data, that 90% of the listed companies disclosed their data within the mentioned period (43 companies out of 46 listed companies), while three companies couldn’t disclose their data within the granted period: Sanad Construction Resources SANAD, Pal-Aqar Real Estate Investment PALAQAR, and Dar Al-Shifa’ For the Manufacturing of Pharmaceuticals PHARMACARE.

According to the disclosed data, the total after tax profits of the companies that disclosed their data reached $219,611,702 in 2020; down by 24.18% than the year 2019 which hit $289,649,491. The companies that achieved profits constituted 86.05% from total companies that disclosed their data (37 companies out of 43 companies), with total profits of $230,135,260 in 2020 compared to $301,749,588 in 2019; down by 23.73%. On the other hand, 6 companies realized losses of $10,523,558 in 2020 compared to losses of $12,100,097 in 2019, recording a decline in the realized losses of 13.03%.
