The PSE index recorded an increase of 0.46%
The Palestinian Securities Exchange yesterday recorded an increase during its weak session with its trading not exceeding $1 million. Al-Quds index closed at 503.56 points with an increase of 2.37 points by 0.46%.The bank sector and insurance sectors index rose respectively by 3.25% and 0.83% while the index for the industry, investment and services sector decreased by 0.25%, 0.02%, and 0.02% respectively. Yesterday 23 companies shares were traded of which 13 companies inclined, 7 declined and 3 remained stable. Company shares for AIB, AMB, BOP, PIBC, GMC, LADAEN, AIE, AIG, NIC, PIIC and WASSEL inclined. As for company shares for PEC, UCI, PRICO, NCI, BPC and JCC there shares declined. But PADICO, PALTEL and ARAB shares remained stable. The market experienced weak trading confined to trading 613,004 shares through 480 contracts totaling 938,824JD.PADICO led shares that maintained the stability of the markets trading value to 397,583JD.
