Within the duty towards the community the Palestine Securities Exchange launched a fund for University scholarships
The PSE launched a fund for University scholarships and to finance a number of school seats for students in Palestinian Universities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. This step comes within the duty of the market towards the Palestinian society and youth in particular. Dr. Hassan Abulibdeh,Chairman Executive of the PSE Board, stated that despite Palestine’s conditions with the stock market it will not stop the activity within its social reality, particularly those related to education in Palestinian Universities and support youth achieving Palestinian aspirations calling all economic institutions to support the underprivileged who are unable to pay university tuition. Dr.Abulibdeh added that the grant will continue throughout the 4 or 5 year school year.
