The President Mahmoud Abbas said that it had been agreed with Prince Alwaleed bin Talal to deliver projects to support the Palestinian people. The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mohammad Mustafa assured the success of the visit carried out by the Prince to Palestine, to discuss investment prospects enjoyed by the Palestinian land. He added: "The meeting focused on economic issues, especially the city of Jerusalem and its needs both in terms of supporting the steadfastness of our people in the holy city, or on the level of investment ", Mustafa pointed out that Palestinian businessmen have made a number of investment ideas that can be implemented in the city of Jerusalem or the rest of the Palestinian territory. He explained that the Prince was interested in the ideas presented, where he promised to follow-up and implementation of possible ones, noting that he discussed investment opportunities in the Palestinian economy in terms of the sectors of petroleum, pharmaceuticals, tourism and reconstruction. On the other hand, The Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture and Alwaleed Bin Talal Foundation signed an agreement worth $4.1 million to support the agricultural projects in Palestine. Whereby, the agreement supports the combat poverty programs through launching small agricultural projects that generates profits for Palestinian.
