Palestine Telecommunications achieves net income of JD45.34 million in H1 2013

According to Palestine Telecommunications Company ( PALTEL)’s data for the first six months of the year, net profit after taxes reached 45,341,000 JOD, compared with a net profit after taxes of 41,392,000 JOD from the first six months of 2012, a net increase of 9.5%. Total assets of the company reached 588,895,000 JOD as of June 30^th, 2013, compared to total assets of 616,521,000 JOD as of December 31^st, 2012, a net decrease of 4.5%. Total liabilities of the company reached 149,457,000 JOD as of June 30^th, 2013, compared to total liabilities of 157,948,000 JOD as of December 31^st, 2012, a net decrease of 5.4%. Net ownership equity of the company reached 439,438,000 JOD as of June 30^th, 2013, compared with net ownership equity of 458,573,000 JOD as of December 31^st, 2012, a net decrease of 4.2% in the last six months. All figures in the financial statements appeared in thousands of JOD.
