Head of the Palestine Chapter of Middle East IR Society received the

A formal Palestinian delegation of representative from the Palestine Exchange (PEX), PADICO Holding, Bank of Palestine and Wassel Logistics participated recently in the Annual Conference of Middle East Investor Relations Society (MEIRS) hosted by the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange. Senior level delegates attended from the society"s different chapters including Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and London. Head of the Palestine Chapter of MEIRS, Mrs. Fida Musleh/Azar was awarded the "Outstanding Individual Contribution to IR" award as recognition for her innovation in enhancing IR best practices in Palestine and the Middle East. Mrs. Musleh/Azar, also Manager of Public Relations and Investor Education Department of the Palestine Exchange, said: "I am very pleased with this recognition which emphasizes the PEX efforts in enhancing IR best practices among Palestinian listed companies. This achievement positions the PEX as an IR pioneer among its peers in the Middles East. The Palestine Chapter, launched in February 2012, will continue its efforts to involve more companies in Palestine to adopt best IR practices and to enhance communication strategies with current shareholders and potential investors" In the same context, the Bank of Palestine was honored as "Best Company practicing Investor Relations in Palestine".
