Canada Resumes Direct Aid to the Palestinian Government
Ottawa:
Canada announced its resumption of aid to the Palestinian government yesterday after it was suspended in 2006.It will be offering $8 million Canadian dollars (7.6 million US dollars) in assistance directly to the new government in accordance with the temporary international mechanism approved by the Quartet.
