A delegation from Palestine Development and Investment "PADICO Holding" headed by the CEO Samir Huleileh , had visited Egypt last week to learn about the Egyptian experience in environmental projects, especially in the field of recycling of solid waste. The delegation visited the Engineering Tasks Group - Entag in Obour city, which is a company that is specialized in manufacturing and producing waste sorting lines and equipments. The delegation of "PADICO" was welcomed by Dr. Hisham al-Sharif, the managing director of Entag, where he briefed the “15th of May project”and the waste sorting and recycling line which its capacity accounts for 1,600 tons per day. The delegation also overviewed the technology used and how they work and how to manage the recycling project. The Egyptian Company has activities in various Arab countries such as Sudan and Saudi Arabia, Libya and other countries. The Delegation of "PADICO Holding" showed their admiration for the level of technological progress reached by Egyptian companies in the field of environmental investments, and Hulileh considered that the evolution and technological progress enjoyed by the Egyptian companies is "an opportunity and encouragement to create a new and broad atmosphere of cooperation and to build trade relations between Palestine and Egypt, pointing out that this cooperation will benefit the economies of both countries; Hulileh called to study the investment opportunities in various fields. The delegation met a group of Egyptian officials to discuss prospects of economic cooperation between Palestine and Egypt in particular with the Gaza Strip, and the need to develop this relationship to become a formal and legal in the light of the success and growth of the business relationship linking Gaza to Egypt through the tunnel trade that is estimated at $700 million annually. Hulileh said: "we must work to build strong and official trade relations and establish logistics storage centers on the sides of the Gaza Strip, and we can develop it by opening the doors of cooperation in the fields of infrastructure projects such as desalination of sea water, and power generation
