A New European grant for Retirees
The European Commission yesterday announced the allocation of 21 million Euros as an additional, immediate grant to the Palestinian government .An official statement issued by the EU executive body stated that the amount is exceptional and will be allocated for the disbursement of Palestinian citizen benefits that are at the age of retirement and off of work. It pointed out that European support for the Palestinian people will be through an interim mechanism, which never stopped despite all the events
