Birzeit Pharmaceuticals (BPC) disclosed its semi- annual financial statements for the first half of 2010, and the company’s financial results as of 30/06/2010 indicated a pretax income of JOD 1.93 million compared to pretax income of JOD 1.75 million in the first half of 2009. The company’s assets reached JOD 33.24 million at the end 30/06/2010 after they reached JOD 34.73 million on 31/12/2009. Total liabilities reached JOD 4.54 million at the end of the first half of 2010 compared to JOD 5.90 million as of 31/12/2009. Shareholders’ equity reached JOD 28.70 million (minority interests of JOD 0.24 million) on 30/06/2010 after they reached JOD 28.83 million (minority interests of JOD 0.20 million)  at the end of 2009.
