Beit Jala Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company (formerly Jordan Chemical Laboratory) is the first pharmaceutical company in Palestine that was established in 1969to manufacture generic drug pharmaceutical products of very high quality to the domestic market.The company provides production lines for tablets, capsules, ointments and creams, syrups and suspensions, and suppositories were installed.
In 1978 the company started the production of four different types of eye drops that proved to be a success further on.In 1992, decision was taken to start building a state of the art facility in compliance with CGMP guidelines and relevantly to refurbish the old facility, all with the aim to produce pure, safe, and effective drug pharmaceutical products.
